ALEXANDER CONGRATULATES LOCAL HOTELS ON PRESTIGIOUS TRIPADVISOR AWARD

Highland MP Danny Alexander has congratulated the Golf View Hotel and The Old Manse on winning the prestigious TripAdvisor Travellers' Choice Award.

The prize, awarded by millions of actual travellers, puts Golf View Hotel and The Old Manse among a small group of hotels worldwide recognised for consistent excellence. Fewer than four thousand hotels worldwide received a Travellers' Choice Award this year.

Danny Alexander says:

"I'm delighted that Golf View Hotel and The Old Manse have won this award. Tourism is a very important industry in the Highlands and its very good news that the excellence of two of our local hotels has been recognised globally by receiving this honour.

"The profile of this award will help to bring new visitors to the area and is a great reflection of the quality of tourism Inverness, Nairn, Badenoch & Strathspey offers to travellers.
