Highland MP Danny Alexander welcomes Ness Minister to Parliament

Ness Minister, brewed by the Loch Ness Brewery in Drumnadrochit, was welcomed to the Strangers Bar in Parliament yesterday.

The move comes after local MP, Danny Alexander, proposed that the brew be made available as guest ale in the Strangers Bar.

Highland MP Danny Alexander took the opportunity to toast the recent award bestowed upon the Benleva Hotel, home of the Loch Ness Brewery, as the 2012 CAMRA Highlands and Western Isles Pub of the Year.

Danny Alexander says:

"I was delighted that Ness Minister has made a guest appearance in Parliament.

"The Highlands have a great range of breweries producing a premium product which acts as a great ambassador for our area all across the UK"

Allan and Stephen Crossland, owners of the Brewery, said:

"We are very pleased with the feedback Ness Minister has received so far."
